Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be home for pickup?
Nope! If you’re not home, we’ll just need a way to get inside to pickup your pup (key, lockbox code, etc.)
What does my dog need to bring to camp?
All your pup needs to bring to camp is a well-fitting collar or harness that has a name tag with your phone number on it. We’ll take care of the rest!
What are your new dog requirements?
New dogs must meet the following requirements to be accepted into camp:
- Spayed/neutered and up-to-date with their Rabies, Distemper and Bordetella vaccinations
- At least 2 years old
- Friendly with people, dogs and kids
- Comfortable off-leash and in the car
- Passes their Trial Day
What areas do you pickup?
We pickup in Portland, South Portland, and select areas of Falmouth. If you live in Falmouth, please email us your pickup address before signing up so we can confirm you’re within our pickup zone.
Where do you take the dogs?
We take our packs to a variety of trails and off-leash nature spots in the Greater Portland area. Depending on the season, we might also use private land.
How long is camp?
Camp lasts about 2-4 hours from pickup to drop-off. This includes a minimum of 1 hour of off-leash fun at our adventure spot, plus time for driving and pickups.
How many dogs are in each group?
We generally take between 4-6 dogs per group.
What are your pickup times?
Our morning group pickup window is from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and our afternoon group pickup window is from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
What kind of vehicle do you drive?
We currently drive a Toyota Sienna minivan (nicknamed “The Woof Wagon”) with the backseats removed so our pups have plenty of room to comfortably chill.
Do you accept small dogs?
Yes, we offer a small dog group on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
Do you operate year-round?
Yes!
